【Special Interview】Looking back at 2019 season #9 Hiroyoshi Kamata (Part 3)

Kamata shares his memorable match and his appreciation for his supporters with us in part 3 of his interview.
Impressive game with Young Lions
--What was the most memorable team and player you’ve played?
Kamata Hougang United was strong. They had a nicely balanced of defense and attack. In additional, individual skill was high level. That is why they won.
The most memorable players are Shahdan Sulaiman (Tempines #8 ) and Faris Ramli (Hougang #19).
--What was the most memorable game you’ve participated?
Kamata First one is the game against Balestier*1. It was the first time for us to win the game in this season. I became happy then.
Second one is the game against Young Lions*2. Before the game, Kaishu (#7 Kaishu Yamazaki) ‘s grandmother passed away. Therefore, Kaishu played as a captain then. We wanted to win for Kaishu and had passion to win. Hence I clearly remember this game.
--The episode shows the strength of team ties. Who is on good terms with you?
Kamata Same-age members. (#7 Kaishu Yamazaki, #11 Yoshikatsu Hiraga)
I am also on good terms with members who live in condominium together. We even went out for dinner during each other's birthday.
Supporters are treasure. I want to repay supporters one day.
--You have lived in Singapore for 4 years. What do you like about Singapore?
Kamata People are very kind and the town is pleasant clean environment. I recommend Merlion and The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands.
--Recently, you are trying to be “YouTuber”. You widen your appeal.
Kamata I wanted to try it. I hope people who subscribe to my channel and enjoy watching my videos will increase. YouTube is already the reason some supporters have started to cheer for me. So I think this activity has a good impact.
--What was the most memorable activity except football as a member of Albirex Niigata FC(S)?
Kamata I value all events and activities. I am glad that Singaporean know our activity. I think I want to participate as long as possible and make our name and activity famous.
I am happy I can give a dream to children and communicate with them if we cannot understand each other’s language.
--How were the supporters of Albirex Niigata FC(S)?
Kamata I am happy they cheer for us. Some supporters cheered for me by using panel and sending a message to me via SNS. They motivated me.
It is awesome that Singaporeans cheer for foreign team. So I want to meet their expectations. Supporters are a treasure for me. As the pitch of Jurong East Stadium is very close from the stand, I could hear the cheers of our supporters.
--You received many messages from your supporters who have been cheering for you since you belonged to youth club of Albirex Niigata Japan.
Kamata I want to repay my supporters who have been cheering for me for a long time by playing at Albirex Niigata Japan in the future. As many supporters are waiting for me, I want to meet their expectations.
--Please give a message to supporters.
Kamata I apologize to you that we could not capture any titles. I really appreciate your support and encouragement. Your support motivated and encouraged me. I hope you will cheer for Albirex Niigata FC(S) as well even if our players will change next season.

*2 : 2019/4/21 SPL 6th Leg Kamata scored the winning goal in additional time in the second half.
