Our players and coaching staff participated the “Usher in the New Year Prosperity Rice for Senior” event organized by Yuhua Community Club on Sunday 19th January.
Yesterday, Our players and coaching staff participated the “Usher in the New Year Prosperity Rice for Senior” event organized by Yuhua Community Club on Sunday 19th January.
This event is to celebrate Lunar New Year together with community, Yuhua Community Club distributed gift packages which included rice and fruits to the elderly in the local community.
Some people came to Yuhua CC to pick up the gift package directly, on the other hand, volunteers delivered the gift package to the elderly and those who are unable to come to Yuhua CC. Our players were separated into two groups: One group distributed the package at the venue and another group visited the home directly to distribute the package.
The total number of gift packages distributed at the event is 3,600.
The money collected from 『Yuhua Charity Walk for RICE 2019』(http://www.albirex.com.sg/en/archives/37283/) held last year was for the distribution packages for the Yuhua residents. One of our highlights was, at this annual event we donated 2,000 kg of ALBI Rice that our players usually eat.
We hope these residents will enjoy the ALBI Rice, Koshihikari from Niigata prefecture.
We are appreciative of the great cooperation provided from our club partner “Niigata Kubota”. We sincerely appreciate “Niigata Kubota”.
In addition, it was the first exchange of interaction with the locals for our 2020 season players.
It’s was a great opportunity to know where we are, and how Yuhua and Albirex support each other.
We are very grateful for the opportunity and thankful to be a part of it. Thanks to everyone in the Yuhua district.
