Forward Shuhei Hoshino continues his red hot form tonight at Jalan Besar Stadium by scoring 2 goals again, following the same feat against Warriors FC 3 days ago.

The victims tonight are the Young Lions who conceded an 8th minute penalty with a handball. Hoshino gleefully put the penalty away by sending Young Lions GK Zharfan the wrong way to give the White Swans an early lead.

Captain Murofushi was rested tonight as he carried a knock to his knee from the last game. Head Coach Yoshinaga decided not to risk him with many games coming up.

In came speedy winger Yamanaka who took up the left wing while Adam Swandi switched to Murofushi's midfield position.

This adjustment probably took time to work out as the White Swans could not find a breakthrough in the first half after the penalty.

After the break, Adam grew into his role and started to have more influence in the game. He came close to double the lead immediately after the 2nd half kickoff when his diving header whistled past the post following Kamata's whipping cross from the right wing.

Minutes later, Kamata sent in another delicious cross again from the right. This time, Hoshino glanced the ball into the left bottom corner to extend our advantage.

The White Swans huffed and puffed in search of the third goal but were profligate in shooting.

In the 3rd minute of extra time, Adam turned the Young Lions defender inside out at the bye line and cut the ball back to substitute Sumikawa who was lurking at the edge of the penalty box. Sumikawa, just came on, scored with his first touch of the ball to send the fans into delirium.

The Young Lions managed to pull a goal back with the last kick of the game but the White Swans have done enough to seal the win. Final Score 1-3.

The White Swans maintain its perfect record with 8 wins out of 8 as the first round of games reach its conclusion.

Next up is 2nd placed Tampines Rovers at the Tampines Hub this Sunday. It will be an eagerly awaited match between the top 2 teams in the country.
