International Friendly Match vs U-22 Myanmar "White Swans Kept Clean Sheet Against Speedy Myanmar U22"
The White Swans completed their Myanmar tour with a goal-less draw against a speedy and technical Myanmar National U22 team tonight.
The hosts dominated the first half and breached the White Swans offside trap with well-timed runs on many occasions. Profligate shooting from the Myanmar forwards and Man-of-the-Match performance from Albirex custodian, Kengo Fukudome, somehow kept the scoreline at nil-nil at half time.
The White Swans came out of their shell in the second half and managed to test the Myanmar keeper on a number of occasions, while restricting the opponents to a handful of chances.
However, both sides could not find any breakthrough and the game ended scoreless.
The White Swans will return to league action at Jurong East Stadium on 15 March 2019 against DPMM Brunei FC.
