2020 SPL matches to be played behind closed doors

FAS had decided for the Singapore Premier League(SPL) matches to be held behind closed doors to prevent measures and the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19).

The decision was made based on a notice issued by the Ministry of Health (MOH) on Friday 13th March.

We kindly ask for your understanding. Thank you.

Implementation period

There is no fixed period, and the matches will be held behind closed doors till further notice from FAS.

Notes

In the match, no one can enter the venue except the officials who got permission in advance.
In addition, regardless of the home team or away team, waiting to enter or exit the venue is prohibited.

We fully understand the feelings of everyone who wants to send cheers directly to the players. Thank you.
The purpose is to prevent measures and the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19).
Please respect and follow the rules.
