On Sunday, 8th February, we took part in the Yuhua Prosperity Rice Distribution, organised by Yuhua Community Club (Yuhua CC).

This community outreach initiative aims to distribute rice to senior residents in the neighbourhood and to convey gratitude and well wishes ahead of the Chinese New Year.

The event was held across multiple distribution locations in the Yuhua area, with players from our top team and women’s team representing the Club.

Working closely with community volunteers, our players assisted with rice distribution and home deliveries, while engaging in warm and meaningful conversations with senior residents.

The players were warmly welcomed, exchanging smiles and greetings, and received many words of encouragement from members of the community.

The event was also attended by Grace Fu, Minister for Sustainability and the Environment and Minister-in-charge of Trade Relations, as well as Member of Parliament for Yuhua.

She took time to personally engage with residents, contributing to a warm atmosphere that highlighted the importance of a supportive and caring community.

This initiative was carried out as part of the Club’s ongoing commitment to giving back to the community, and proved to be a highly meaningful experience for both our players and staff.

Moving forward, we will continue to value our partnerships with Yuhua Community Club and other community organisations, and remain committed to contributing to initiatives that support and uplift the local community.
