On Saturday, 16 May 2026, we held a press conference regarding the strategic partnership with SKASports Investments Private Limited, a sports investment company based in Chennai, India.

At the press conference, Chairman Daisuke Korenaga first spoke about the new chapter the club is entering as FC Jurong, as well as the future vision the club aims to achieve.

He explained that the club aims to become a “club that continues for 100 years,” and that a football club should not only pursue success on the pitch, but also serve as a place that connects communities and people.

He also stated that the strategic partnership with SKASports is an important initiative to further deepen connections within Singapore’s diverse society, particularly with the Indian community, and represents a major step forward as FC Jurong seeks to grow across Asia.

Following this, SKASports Directors, Rohit Ramesh and Sudhir Menon delivered speeches on their expectations for the partnership and their vision for the future alongside FC Jurong.

SKASports expressed their delight in being part of FC Jurong’s new challenge, and shared their intention to help further build on the foundation the club has established, contribute to long-term growth, create international opportunities, and enhance the club’s value in Singapore and across Asia.

Through this partnership, FC Jurong aims to build a new growth model by combining the club’s accumulated knowledge in football club operations and player development with Singapore’s strengths as an international city, as well as SKASports’ network and growth potential in India.

The club will continue moving forward with the aim of remaining rooted in Jurong even 100 years from now, becoming a club loved by the local community and one that Singapore can proudly present to Asia.

A special T-shirt created to commemorate the partnership between FC Jurong and SKA Sports. The new FC Jurong emblem is placed on the left chest, while the front features “FC Jurong” written in Tamil.
