Albirex Niigata FC(S) held semi-final match of the League Cup against Tampines Rovers FC on 27th July 2011 at Jurong East Stadium. Despite suffering first goal, Albirex equalized in 2nd half again as same as Q-final. Then, the match went into penalty shootout, and Albirex won it after 8 kickers.
