In Round 17 of the Singapore Premier League, Albirex Niigata FC (S) hosted Tanjong Pagar United FC at Jurong East Stadium.

Albirex took control of the match from the opening stages.

As early as the 3rd minute, Shingo Nakano found the back of the net, but the goal was ruled out for offside. However, in the 7th minute, following a through pass from Cho Eunsu, Yang Hyeonju broke into the penalty area and delivered a cross-shot, which Nakano calmly converted to open the scoring.

Just three minutes later, in the 10th minute, Nakano doubled the lead with a header from Yang’s cross on the left flank. Albirex quickly established control of the match with two early goals.

The team continued their attacking momentum, and in the 28th minute, Kim Taeuk powered in a header from a cross by Katsuyuki Ishibashi to make it 3-0. Albirex went into halftime with a comfortable lead.

Albirex maintained their intensity in the second half, and although Yang Hyeonju found the net in the 52nd minute, the goal was disallowed for offside.

In the 60th minute, Nakano came close to scoring again, and in the 74th minute, substitute Shakti hit the post as Albirex pushed for another goal.

Finally, in the 90th minute, Yang made a brilliant run down the left and delivered a precise pass into the box, which Nakano finished calmly to complete his hat-trick and seal the victory.

The match ended 4-0, with Albirex securing all three points through a solid performance both offensively and defensively.
